Star Wars stormtroopers coming to Crawley!

Two of the characters will be in County Mall on Saturday August 15 as part of a promotional event for the Hollywood Special Effects Show, which will be at The Hawth theatre on September 30.

People will have the chance to meet and take pictures with the white armoured soldiers from a galaxy far far away.

They will be at the mall from 11am to 4pm.

The Hollywood Special Effects Show will take viewers behind the scenes of the biggest films and show how special effects are developed.

The Hawth will also be running a movie memorabilia exhibition from July 31 - August 11 which will feature original costumes and props from blockbuster films series such as Indiana Jones and James Bond.

Stormtroopers have been a mainstay of the Star Wars universe since their début in 1977’s A New Hope.

Arguably the poorest marksmen in the galaxy, their next film appearance will be in the much-anticipated new Star Wars film, The Force Awakens in December.
