The Ariel Drama Academy’s performances in the Human Nature Garden in aid of Chestnut Tree House theatre were a great success playing to the well-attended ‘Picnic for the People’ organised by Jemma Warren’s United Horsham Facebook community.

The picnic brought Horsham families of many nationalities together to share a good time and different foods with eastern European food shops, Paula providing free samples of delicious cakes for everyone to enjoy.

Also promoting their causes in the park were a large number of Horsham Rotary Club led charities and local groups, with the friendly faces representing them contributing to the feel-good atmosphere on the day.

“The combination of so many community based organisations and charities coming together along with performers of all ages and local businesses provides a real spectacle for all to enjoy and engage in.

“Of course this year Sparks in the Park is part of the new Horsham Festival of Arts which has a brilliant programme of events in and around the town every day until next Sunday July 17.

“I recommend everyone to check this out with the programme being available online at www.horshamfestival.co.uk.”
