Sexual assault in Henfield - police investigating

Police would like to speak to a man in connection with a sexual assault in a public toilet in Henfield.

A statement from Sussex Police said: “Officers are investigating an incident in the public conveniences in the High Street on the morning of Friday 17 June, during which the victim, a local man in his 50s, reported being sexually touched.”

PC Jenny Pietersen said: “We would like to speak to a man in connection with the assault, and appeal to anyone who may have been near the public toilets in the High Street and who may have seen someone acting unusually or loitering in the area.”
