The pupils, from years five and six in Spain class, wrote letters to the elderly before Christmas to cheer them up.

The pupils met their pen pals at the Hub Cafe, spending the afternoon trading stories. Miss Julia Francis, Spain class teacher said: “It was a lovely afternoon filled with laughter.”
