Secretive new shop coming to the Carfax

Another new shop is preparing to open in Horsham town centre - though its purpose is, for now, a mystery.

Days after it was announced that the milkshake bar ShakeAway will be coming to the Carfax, the shop, Crates, revealed it will be another new addition to the town.

Owners PJ Aldred and Marion Carter, who run Horsham Markets, are keeping quiet about the store, which is to open in August.

According to PJ many people are asking if it will be a hairdressers or a coffee shop?

However, the local businesswoman told the County Times: “We are not revealing anything yet!

“It will be supporting other local businesses and bringing some fantastic produce into the town centre six days a week.”

The shop, on the corner of the Carfax, is being painted today (Monday July 22).
