Schedule for road resurfacing announced by county council

The schedule of surface dressing treatment for Horsham district roads this week (Monday June 3 to Friday June 7) has been released by West Sussex County Council.

Surface dressing involves spraying a coating of bitumen on the road, followed by one or more layers of hard stone chippings.

The work makes the road safer because it improves the skid resistance of the surface.
