SMALL businesses and people thinking of starting their own business are being invited to the ninth Horsham Microbiz event on Saturday March 12 2011.

Widely regarded as a small business treasure trove, Horsham Microbiz enables visitors to enjoy over 40 carefully selected exhibitors, workshops with top tips, delivered by inspirational entrepreneurs and respected professionals and fantastic networking but best of all it’s completely free.

Horsham Microbiz is being held in The Drill Hall, Denne Road, Horsham from 10am to 4pm and offers visitors everything they will need - and more, in one place, on one day.

With its winning combination, the event has become one of the most popular business to business events in Sussex, attracting thousands of visitors since it first began in 2003 and thanks to the generosity of local sponsors, Horsham Microbiz is completely free for visitors.

There’s also a networking table, where local businesses can leave their business cards and leaflets before heading off to a workshop or taking a tour of the main exhibition.

With all this inspiration, free advice and information on offer, what better way to spend a Saturday.

Horsham Microbiz is organised by Horsham District Council, pioneers of the Microbiz concept and brand and main sponsor of the event.

Business sponsors for Microbiz 2011 to date are: NatWest Bank, FSB, Spofforths LLP, Chichester College, Central Sussex College, Foundry Press Ltd, The Marketing Gym Ltd, Holbrook & Horsham Pages, The Resident, Coole & Haddock, West Sussex County Council and Printz Charmin Ltd.

If the feedback from thousands of visitors to Microbiz is anything to go by, you will thoroughly enjoy your visit. It’s warm and friendly, inspiring and motivational and offers a fantastic café with delicious food, so wear your most comfortable shoes and plan to stay all day.
