Sainsbury’s Horsham supported St Mary’s CE Primary School’s harvest celebrations this week.
Talented bakery colleague Hayley Read-Jones from the Horsham store, designed and created a stunning harvest bread sheaf complete with little mouse for the school to present at their harvest communion held at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday, October 14.
Sainsbury’s also donated a box of goodies which will be distributed between the Salvation Army and Crawley Open House.
St Mary’s head teacher, Mrs Shelley Dutson, said: “We were thrilled that Sainsbury’s suggested they create something for us and the children were amazed by the detail.”
Sainsbury’s Horsham store manager Derek Boarer, said: “We are very proud of our bakery team and it’s been fantastic to show off their talents in this way.”
