Farlington School’s Olivia Middleton attended the Regional Round of the National Rotary Club’s Young Musician Competition on Sunday 26th April, having won the vocal category of both Local and District Rounds of the competition.

Olivia was one of an extremely high-quality “field” yesterday and although she was not selected to go forward to the final round, her performance garnered high praise from the judges.

Mrs Thomas, Farlington’s Director of Music, said, “We are very proud of Olivia’s achievements; she is a very talented musician and did extremely well to get to this stage.

Last year she gained a distinction for her Grade 8 singing, and has recently enjoyed a starring role in Farlington’s musical production of “Anything Goes”.
