The works will take place between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and when necessary between 8am and 1pm on Saturdays.

Speaking about the works, a spokesperson from J Breheny Contractors, said “Whilst the works are underway the dual carriageway will remain open, restricted to a single lane with a 40mph speed limit and width restriction in both directions.

“These measures are in place to protect our workforce and motorists and reduce the overall time the works will take. We advise people using this section of the A24 during peak hours to leave extra time for their journeys, in case of delays.”
