Public thanked for assistance after police attend Warninglid collision

The road was closed while police attended to the single vehicle incident.

A Mid Sussex Police spokesman said on Twitter: “Thanks to Dave and Connor from #morethantyres who stopped to assist and provided needed cover at the incident. Much appreciated!”

The road was reopened soon after with all parties reported to be ‘safe and well’.

Police thanked the fire service and ambulance service for their assistance, adding: “Also helped by an off duty doctor- lovely when everyone pulls together.”
