Up to £10k worth of equipment stolen from building site in Pease Pottage

Up to £10,000 worth of items have been stolen from a building site in Haynes Way, Pease Pottage.

Police were called at around 8.15am on Thursday (September 17) to a report that there had been a break-in sometime overnight.

Items including a laptop, tablet, DVD player and various tools were taken from a portable cabin.

A pallet of roofing tiles was missing from outside and around 1500 litres of red diesel was siphoned from a tank.

PC David Harwood said: “We believe the suspects could have used either a large vehicle or a number of smaller ones to take so many items from the site.

“If you saw anything suspicious in the area please email [email protected] or call 101 quoting reference 0202 of 17/09.”

Alternatively witnesses can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
