A protest rally in Horsham this morning called for major changes to the adoption law.

The group, outside County Hall in Horsham, want to see an end to the practice of holding family court cases in private, and make it harder for social services to take children away from their parents.

Adam, who was with the group, told the County Times: “We are standing up against the way the local authorities and social services are taking children from innocent parents and putting them up for adoption.

“All this is done in the secrecy of the family court so no one ever hears about it.”
