Project to protect the Blackhorse Way Forum

An £8,200 project to provide seating and bollards at the Forum in Blackhorse Way, Horsham, is due to be completed this week.

A Horsham District Council representative said: “The work being undertaken adjacent to the Forum water feature is to provide a mixture of stone cube seating and spherical bollards to provide both seating for the public and physical protection for the suspended stone slabs over the water feature.

“We have in the past had a number of vehicles drive onto the water feature area and damage it, falling through the limestone paving into the fountain’s water circulation ducts.

“The cost of the work is approximately £8,200 and is expected to be completed prior to Saturday 19 December.”
