Earlier this month the facility was vandalised, leaving Southwater Parish Council with a bill of £4,000 to repair the damage and led to the cancellation of the village skate jam.

The criminal damage happened on Tuesday September 3 and the community safety partnership is offering a reward of £500 for information leading to the conviction of the persons responsible.

The Southwater Parish Council meeting, held at Beeson House and starting at 7.30pm, will discuss and approve expenditure for repair costs and schedule.

At the time the parish council branded it ‘mindless criminal damage’ and expressed disappointment at having to call off the skate jam.

Anyone with information can call Sussex Police on 101, quoting serial 0722 of 04/09.
