Police are growing increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of missing Emily Besant who was last seen shopping in Worthing on Saturday afternoon (March 19), and has connections to Arundel, Crawley and Brighton.
The 15-year-old disappeared at around 2.40pm. Officers have released this CCTV image of Emily at East Worthing railway station at 3.34pm. It is believed she got on a train to London.
Inspector Roy Hodder said: “We are concerned for Emily because of her age and she has now been missing for five days. Although she has been living near Arundel she has links to Brighton and Crawley and maybe in the south London area.”
Emily is white, 5ft, of small build with very long, straight, dyed dark purple hair. She has her lip, tongue and belly button pierced. She was last seen wearing a black and grey Adidas top with dark blue jeans and carrying a red and orange bag.
Anyone who has seen her or knows where she is, please contact police on firstname.lastname@example.org or ring 101 quoting serial 825 of 19/03.
If she is in danger or in need or urgent medical attention, dial 999.
