Two property firms have announced they will be taking over Horsham’s Piries Place.
Property development and investment company Reef Estates said it had bought the site in a joint acquisition with construction and property consultants Arcus.
There has been much speculation about the future of Piries Place after Waitrose left the area almost a year ago.
Stewart Deering, chief executive of Reef Estates, told the County Times: “Reef and Arcus have purchased Piries Place in a joint venture capacity.
“We are urban regeneration specialists and are excited by the opportunity to breathe new life into this part of Horsham, which has suffered since the relocation of Waitrose.
“We are currently considering our options from an investment and development perspective.”
