Toby Hordern, 17, rode his bike across the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne on Tuesday, July 7, and Wednesday, July 8, in support of Medical Detection Dogs.

The charity trains dogs to save lives using their amazing sense of smell. The dogs can detect odours as tiny as a teaspoon of sugar in two Olympic sized swimming pools, and it is hoped they can potentially detect Covid-19 and be deployed at airports and train stations.
