The group is urging anyone who ‘feels threatened’ to call police on 999.

Horsham District Neighbourhood Watch Association vice chairman Ken Broomfield said that the doorstep sellers had targeted the St Leonards Road/Sandeman Way areas, as well as other districts, in the town.

He said the sellers were trying to sell items from their rucksacks and had stated that they had been recently released from prison.
