The number 44,602 has been arranged in shingle on the lawns by a mystery person or group.

It represents the number of people who have died with coronavirus in the UK.

However, tragically, this number has risen since it was placed – it is now 44,650, according to government figures.

Each stone has a number written on it, perhaps representing each person who has died in connection with covid-19.
