People in Billingshurst and Barns Green report seeing ‘a bright orange light’ moving high and fast and flashing regularly before speeding up and disappearing.

Residents reported seeing the phenomenon between 10.30pm and 11.30pm.

Some people are questioning whether the lights could have been Comet Neowise or the International Space Station. But others are dismissing the suggestions.

One Billingshurst resident said the strange light moved fast and smoothly. Another said they had seen a couple of white flashes and then an orange glow.
