The Ghyll CIO, Southwater Village Hall, Southwater Hubs and some local shops, including Budgens, are making them available to the elderly and vulnerable on request (free of charge).

Southwater Parish Council is currently distributing them to local charities and these can be requested by contacting the parish council on Facebook or their website.

Southwater Village Preschool also received some of the face shields, which have been paid for and sourced jointly by the Masonic Charitable Foundation and the United Grand Lodge of England. They have been distributed over several months to charities, hospices, health-based organisations and other key recipients across East and West Sussex.
