The seven-year-old will take time to build trust but Dogs Trust Shoreham staff say Shep will make a loving and loyal companion to experienced owners.

Shep is doing well at the rehoming centre in Shoreham and it is hoped understanding owners can be found who can support him in developing more self-confidence at his own pace.

“It may take Shep time to build trust in new people but allowing him the time he needs will be truly worth the wait.

“Once you’ve made friends, Shep will relish your company and show you his true, silly and affectionate character.”

Shep is an active dog that enjoys fun activities. Treat training, agility and relaxing walks in quiet, rural areas will be a great way to build up a bond.
