Package delivery firm apologises

Delivery company Hermes has apologised to Storrington residents who have complained about problems with packages.

Villagers told the County Times they were avoiding the firm after parcels were late, missing, or left in inappropriate places.

Hermes spokesman Chris Dolan said: “Recent heavy volumes have led to a small number of issues with deliveries in the village, which have now been resolved.
