The Year 10 team - Alice Tarplee, Yasmine Ryan, Orla Ridpath, Alexandra Harrison-Smith, Sofia Corsi and Isobel Tokatly - took on the challenge on 6th February and raised £1200 in just over two months through fundraising activities such as pyjama days, pancake races and sponge throwing at teachers. Their initiatives won them the award for ‘Best Fundraising Idea’ and they came second in terms of money raised against a much larger school.

Mr Cronin, their able mentor, who guided them through the project, said, “The girls worked very hard at this project and Yasmine Ryan should get a special mention for all her efforts. The final was a great occasion with all the teams mixing together well. We are so proud of them.”
