See new swan cygnets during ‘Tranquil Time’ in Arundel

As spring arrives the days are growing longer so Arundel Wetland Centre is inviting visitors to stay longer on their reserve this Friday to spend some Tranquil Time.

Drop in to relax after work and start your weekend with a symphony of birdsong at sunset. See the newly hatched Black-necked swan cygnets in the wildfowl collection or take a free guided walk to watch birds come to roost in the early evening.

Arundel Wetland Centre is open until 6:30 pm on Fri 14 March to allow visitors to experience the beauty of nature as twilight falls across the reserve. The Wetlands Discovery Boat Safari, the Water’s Edge Cafe and the WWT Gift Shop will all be open until 6:30pm. A guided walk to the Lapwing Hide with Dave Fairlamb, centre manager of WWT Arundel begins a 5 pm.

Arundel Wetland Centre is located on Mill Road, Arundel West Sussex BN18 9PB. All activities during Tranquil Time extended hours are included in regular admission price.
