Season-long fundraiser at bowls club concludes

A season-long prize draw came to it’s conclusion at the end of October for Pulborough Bowls Club.

Players, members, visiting clubs and members of the public were all encouraged to buy numbers in the draw, which was supported by main sponsor, Hamilton and Cole of Pulborough, Harwoods of Pulborough and the Chequers Hotel opposite St Mary’s Church.First prize was a 40 inch flat screen TV donated by Hamilton and Cole, which was won by Fred Bushby, manager of Pulborough Sports and Social Club and Bowls Club player.Over £200 was raised towards updating the viewing areas for players and members of the public to sit in comfort and watch the matches.
