School’s new outdoor learning area ready for Christmas fayre
A new outdoor learning area for Rudgwick Primary School has been installed thanks to the determined fund raising efforts of the school’s PTA and parents.
Seen here receiving a cheque for £4,450 from former PTA Chair Mrs Frances Lalley, Rudgwick Primary School Head Teacher Miss Amie Bowers, commented: “This is yet another great addition to the school and will enable the children to have outdoor lessons, shelter from the sun on sunny days and will be utilised for events such as our European Christmas Fayre to be held this Friday.”
Formerly known as the PTA and now known as FORS, Friends of Rudgwick School would like to thank the many supporters in the community including parents and teachers in their fund raising efforts.
Friends of Rudgwick Primary School would like to invite you to come along and join in the festivities, this Friday December 5 from 3.30pm – 5.30pm at its European Christmas Fayre.
Visit one of the many market stalls including Rudgwick’s own local Firebird Brewery.
Be entertained by the Rudgwick Primary School Choir – Singing For Fun and enjoy a traditional hot Christmas turkey bap with a drop of mulled wine.
There will also be a live band, secret room for the children, traditional raffle and wishing tree, gift stalls plus much, much more…..
And of course a Christmas Fayre would not be complete without a visit from a very special person, Santa Claus.
Follow the candle lit trail to visit Santa in his grotto in the woods and opportunity to have your photo taken with Santa.
We look forward to seeing you there.
