Working with the Rotary Club he was able to hand over £5,000 to Jayne Todd, fundraiser for Chestnut Tree House, and £1,500 to Rosie Wyer of Dame Vera Lynn Trust.

Jayne thanked Rotarians for raising awareness of the Hospice, as well as raising the funds. Accompanying her was Louise Borton who is the Community Leader for ‘End of Life Care’ at the Hospice. Louise spoke touchingly of how she had been able to help some families have happy memories at a difficult time. She felt her task was to provide options, time and choice.
