The children and staff of Arunside School enjoyed a week’s focus on understanding British values and what it means to be a British citizen.

We all explored historical, geographical and ecological aspects plus enjoying a visit from Cindylou, Storyteller extraordinaire, who brought the diversity of our week to a close.

The children enjoyed such topics as “Who’s in Charge?” and “Cultural Diversity”. We had a range of other visitors to support us such as Reverend Natalie Loveless, our Chair of Governors and Sussex Wildlife Trust.

Mrs Slight, Headteacher, said “The children linked many areas of the curriculum to enjoy and support understanding of life in modern Britain. Cindylou’s stories brought this to life”.
