Newbridge Nurseries raises money at charity gift wrapping event

On Saturday 14th December, Karen Roberts from Angels International was at Broadbridge Heath’s Newbridge Nurseries helping local residents get ready for Christmas by wrapping their presents in return for a charity donation.

In total, Karen raised just over £100. Midhurst based charity, Angels International, was founded in 1990 and helps to supply medical aid and promote education and training for local doctors, nurses and workers in Malawi, Africa.

Nigel Wait, Managing Director of Newbridge nurseries commented:“This time of year is about thinking of others and we were delighted that we were able to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported the event and made a donation to have their presents beautifully gift wrapped by Karen.”

Karen Roberts, who is a trustee of Angels International, said: “The charity is totally reliant on the generous donations of supporters, so the money raised from the gift wrapping event is extremely gratefully received. Thank you to Newbridge Nurseries for supporting the charity and to everyone that made a donation.”
