LETTER: What happened to ‘dragon tooth’?

Regarding the recent article on wartime defences found near Storrington (WSCT June 13).

Until fairly recently a ‘dragons tooth’ was in Horsham Park, Hurst Road side.

Where is it now? Why is it not a feature of Horsham’s history?

Please don’t tell me it has been broken up for ballast to mend our potholes!

Also tucked away in a corner was part of a marble pillar – what has happened to that? Ditto as above.

Make use of these relics, they are part of history.
