LETTER: Voters will realise their mistake

After the result of the election I have come to the conclusion that the British voting public are like turkeys voting for Christmas.

I am nearly 80 and have lived under many Tory regimes including Thatcher, but I feel that the latest lot are the nastiest and compassion-less of all of them.

Sadly the voters will come to realise their mistake when it is too late.
