LETTER: Trapped in a state of self-delusion

Following unprecedented coverage in your letters column which consistently expressed outrage over the proposed massive development north of Horsham do we hear a word of apology of any sign of doubt from the Ray Dawe, Claire Vickers, or Roger Paterson? These public servants must be brought to account at the ballot box on the basis that they are no longer fit for public office.

On the other hand, perhaps we should forgive them - as clearly they simply know not what they do. Reviled by large sections of the public, they appear to be trapped in a state of self-delusion - which demands our sympathy rather than public vilification.
