LETTER: Stop moaning about changes

As someone who has lived in Horsham since the early 1930s, in central Horsham, North Horsham (Roffey) and East End, and others like myself, I would like to say to the people who lie adjacent or fairly close to the recent and proposed expansion areas of the town who are complaining about it, the following.

You are living on what were our green fields on which to roam.

We had places in our schools for our children. Our trains were not so crowded.

Those of us that had cars could park free in town. We had plenty of job vacancies locally.

We knew we lived in a good market town. We had all this until you moved in and spoilt it all.

So stop moaning and give other people a chance.
