LETTER: Judicial review of HDC conduct

I was so shocked to read the written remark made by Horsham District Council chief executive Mr Crowley to one of his staff about local resident and community campaigner, Dr Richardson.

Fancy writing ‘Good one Emma… Cheers. Tom’ to congratulate a member of his staff for appearing to successfully give a member of the public the brush-off.

And silence from Cllr Dawe and Cllr Vickers. They no doubt condone this behaviour.

Horsham District Council (HDC) is a ‘rotten borough’ and this recent example adds to the list of the treatments of respected councillors Andrew Baldwin and Christian Mitchell who were sacked from their roles on the council for holding Cllr Dawe and his cabinet cabal to account.

Residents are mounting a Judicial Review on HDC’s conduct in preparing its local housing plan. One thing that must happen is to witness summons Cllrs Dawe and Vickers to attend to explain themselves to a High Court judge.

Mr Crowley can now share the train ride with those two and answer for attempts to frustrate the public’s search for the truth.
