Friends of Sussexdown committee volunteers will also be running a tombola and raffle, with a selection of exciting prizes – as well as an Easter Egg hunt in the home’s extensive grounds to keep younger visitors entertained.

Heather Rogers, Home Manager at Care South’s Sussexdown Country House Care home, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming guests into the home for our coffee morning and once again showcasing the talents of our chefs and kitchen staff.

“The money raised will go towards ensuring our residents enjoy an exciting programme of events, so that they get the best out of life. We hope to see lots of people from the local community there, supporting this fantastic cause!”

The Sussexdown Easter coffee morning is organised by the Friends of Sussexdown Committee, who raise money to provide entertainment for residents, including live music, day trips out, and Christmas and birthday presents for the residents of Sussexdown.
