Cancer Research UK has saved millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. The Farlington Foundation was set up in 2005 to further the education of pupils attending Farlington School by the awarding of scholarships, bursaries and prizes.

It promises to be a very enjoyable day, with some competitive golf, excellent prizes, a raffle and an auction at the dinner. If you would like to enter a team for the Golf Day, please contact Nia Cumber by email: [email protected] or call the School office on 01403 254967. Entry is also open to non-Farlington parents. We would like to welcome the general public to join us.

Sara Whittaker, Farlington’s Director of PE and Games, who is organising the event, said “Our last Charity Golf Day was a tremendous success with some very competitive golf as well as plenty of prizes and an auction. If you are not a golfer, but would like to support the event, you might like to sponsor a hole or be kind enough to donate a raffle prize or an auction item for the day. We raised over £4000 last time and hope to exceed this for our two worthy charities.”
