A year ago a group of volunteers from Pulborough Brooks Baptist Church started a new Toddler Group in Pulborough, called Jelly Beans.

On Monday October 6 they celebrated their first birthday with a huge party.

Attended by 50 children plus parents they were greeted with a huge bouncy castle, soft play toys and a ball pit from CJ’s Party Hire, we even had Mickey Mouse come to play.

Leader Stefanie said: “We were delighted with the turn out and have had a great year, we felt Pulborough needed another group for parents and carers to come and meet new friends and for the children to grow independently.

“We aim to provide a safe environment for the children to play and a welcoming group for the adults. Monday mornings really are the highlight of my week, it can be crazy but fun at the same time.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Alison Standing for donating our fabulous birthday cake, Party bags to go for our balloons and Potter Photography for taking some amazing photos of the morning. Without the parents’ support we would not be able to run and we are blessed with a fantastic bunch.

We held a raffle to raise money for the children’s Christmas party and are very grateful to Tesco and Sainsbury’s in Pulborough, Scrumptious Cupcakes by Clare, The Entertainer, Pink Tiger, Affordable flowers in Lancing and Happyscamps in Horsham for giving us such great prizes.
