Ali Abbott from Holbrook School said they wanted to come to Westlake to establish links in the local community, something Westlake House is also keen to do, and also to narrow the age gap.

The children and residents sat talking after the band had played and enjoyed refreshments together. Louise Bettiss, Head of Activities for Westlake House said “We are always keen to come up with different ideas to fill our residents’ days and they really enjoyed listening to the music and talking to the children. It is so nice to hear them chatting about the visit for many days after the event.”
