Hair salon to donate to Cats Protection

Tracy Bassett who is the owner of T-Cuts Hair Salon in Swindon Road, Horsham very kindly decided that in 2014 she would raise funds for local charities by donating the salon’s takings for one day each month to a different charity.

Cats Protection Horsham and District Branch are delighted to be T-Cuts chosen charity for May.

On Tuesday May 27, all proceeds from the salon will be donated to our local branch. Anna Portnoi, a branch volunteer, said: “This will help tremendously as we are currently raising funds for maintenance and waterproofing our cat cabins as well as the day to day board, lodging and veterinary costs of cats in our care.

“We hope that many people will come along to the salon on May 27. “

As well as the normal friendly, professional hairdressing service there will be lots of Cats Protection goodies to give away including furry bugs, pin badges, balloons, bookmarks and stickers. There will also be cat face masks to decorate!

In the photograph you can see Homer the cat who recently popped along to the salon with Branch Volunteer Ann Rattray to meet Tracy and her colleague Marissa and check that all arrangements for the day are going purr-fectly.
