‘Give Horsham residents bigger bins to reduce pressure on tip’

One easy way to reduce the pressure on the Hop Oast tip would be to give residents the same size bins as most, if not all surrounding areas.

Our bins are half the size of Chichester and Mid Sussex Council bins who also have fortnightly collections.

I distinctly remember a local councillor claiming in your pages, as we moved to fortnightly collections, that Horsham was simply following the practices of other local councils. It wasn’t.

Horsham moved to fortnightly collections but kept half sized bins.
