Gaenor qualifies as floral demonstrator

Gaenor Circus of West Chiltington has just qualified as a Sussex Area Floral Demonstrator after 18 months of training. This follows an examination organised by the Sussex Area of The National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).

Mrs. Circus, who is an active member of the Storrington Flower Club and a member of its committee, already has floristry qualifications from both Brinsbury College and Plumpton College and is a qualified florist.

Gaenor undertook her required work experience at Findon Flowers in Findon Valley.

The NAFAS examination included demonstrating to two national adjudicators as well as showing the elements and principles of design, stagecraft, knowledge of plant material and a plant identification test.
