This was the showcase of Creative Play that took place all over the school. Over the week the children were inspired to collaborate to create things out of cardboard inspired by the Imagination Foundation.

We had an interactive fairground, complete with Ghost Train, Carousel and Dodgems, an enormous Pirate ship, famous landmarks from around the world and a fabulous water park with rides.

“We believe, at Loxwood School, that creative play is one of the most important things we can do to prepare the children for the future,”said Mrs Oldfield the art and design technology coordinator .

“It develops 21st century skills and prepares children to be next-generation innovators. And the children have excelled themselves’.”

On Friday afternoon the parents were invited in to see the children’s imaginations in action! We can’t wait for our next Creative Play challenge!
