Covid-19 vaccine programme in Horsham is a truly awesome achievement

Logistically I know the roll out has been very challenging.

To their great credit Park Surgery together with Orchard, Riverside and Holbrook Surgeries that form the Horsham Central Primary Care Network (PCN), have been in the forefront in rolling out the vaccination programme.

I understand that at the time of writing this letter the vast majority of the over 80-year-olds in the Horsham Central PCN will have been vaccinated by this weekend, against the national average of around 50 per cent.

Additionally my father in law, who is 86-years-old and lives outside Sussex, has yet to receive any information about the Covid-19 vaccination from his surgery.

Accordingly I would like to take this opportunity to pass on my sincere thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, staff and also the volunteers who have helped with the Covid-19 vaccination programme at Park Surgery. A truly awesome achievement. Well done.
