Pupils from years 7 to 10 competed in a range of events to gain points for their community. Activities included volleyball, table tennis, football, cricket, softball, field handball, basketball and field athletics. After the first two sessions all four communities (Branson, Dyson, Hawking and Marconi) were in a position to win. However, the afternoon track athletics finale saw Branson asserting their supremacy, winning numerous events across all year groups. This enabled Branson to beat their closest rivals Hawking by seventy-four points. The day finished with the School Sports Captain Joe Humphries holding the Sports Day Trophy aloft in front of the celebrating Branson community.
