Well in answer to those words, immortalized by Vera Lynn, the Billingshurst Show. Make sure you keep the 28th of June free!

For this is the day when the Billingshurst Show comes back for another year, with a theme of Red, White and Blue.

Preparations have been frantically underway for the procession of floats that will be heading down to the recreation ground at noon and leading this will be the Carnival Princess, her attendant and flower girls, and this year, some lucky boys in a military jeep.

Our princess, Jessica Goold will also be judging a class of the dog show during the afternoon.

So come down and browse around the stalls, have fun on the activities and support the charities who make this possible.

The Billingshurst Rotary and the Scouts and Guides will be running various stalls, a Craft tent, and some raffles, one with a particularly special prize just for this year which ties in perfectly with the show’s theme!
