Afternoon teas in aid ofPulborough churchyard

As many of you may know our churchyard in St Mary’s Church in Pulborough is in trouble. We have one of the larger churchyards in the area and it has always been kept to a very good standard of care.

This year we are struggling to raise the finance to pay for the continual good maintenance which is £8,000 per year. We have received a grant from the Pulborough Parish Council of £1,000, have held several concerts and fund-raising events and also received various donations but we still have £3,200 to raise.

During August we will have the church open every Sunday afternoon from 2-5pm, serving afternoon teas. There will also be a children’s church trail for youngsters to get to know our beautiful ancient building.

All profits from the teas will go toward the churchyard upkeep. Please come along.
