LETTER: Make these roads safe

After reading your article in the County Times with regards to potholes in the Horsham roads, I challenge anyone to name a more pothole-ridden road than Greenway - it is disgusting and I feel unsafe especially as it is in a road where there is a school.

There are so many potholes in this road and there is probably not more than a 4-5 metre stretch of asphalt between the potholes.

As you drive down this road all the chippings from the potholes are flicked up on to parked cars and on to car windows. I believe this has caused damage to the wheels on my car. I have emailed West Sussex County Council about this but as yet I have had no reply.

Another bad pothole is on the roundabout in Albion Way.

We pay road tax for using our vehicles on roads, why is this money not being spent on making these roads safe ?
