LETTER: Brilliant show from ringers

I spent a lovely afternoon with my mother on June 5 in All Saints Church, Roffey, listening to a brilliant concert by the Slinfold Handbell Ringers.

The team are SO talented, and gave us a really fun time too! We sang or hummed along with such renditions of well-known pieces like ‘Any Dream Will Do’, and ‘Ode To Joy’.

We were invited to ‘have a go’ at ringing the bells during the interval, and enjoyed lovely cakes, tea and cold drinks provided by volunteers connected with the group.

A huge thank you to them all, for a giving so much pleasure to my 90 year old mum, and to myself.

We hope the church benefited from generous donations too!
